The cableway ticket is “single-trip”. What if I want to return on it?

The guide will dismiss you at the south-bank terminus. You can scan the code and pay CNY 20 for the ride back, or walk 5 min to Metro Line 6—equally convenient.

What time does the night cruise leave? Could we miss it?

Default sailing is 19:30, boarding at Hongya Cave pier at 18:50. If flood season changes the schedule, the guide texts you before 17:00. If you still miss it, the cruise fare is fully refunded.

The museum is closed on Mondays and we land on Monday—now what?

The programme automatically switches to “Luos中立 Art Museum + Sichuan Fine Arts Institute Graffiti Street”. Both are free and the overall duration stays the same.

Can I take photos during the face-changing opera?

First 10 min, yes. When the face-changing starts, turn off flash. The show already includes covered-bowl tea and snacks.

Should I arrive at Ciqikou on an empty stomach?

Better to save room! The 800 m core alley is packed with food: Chen Mahua, Mao Xue Wang (spicy blood stew), iced brown-sugar jelly, roasted glutinous cakes. The tour reaches Ciqikou around 17:00—perfect off-peak dinner time.

Are there any mountain climbs? Can seniors with bad knees manage?

Hongya Cave has elevators for all 11 floors. Cableway, light-rail and cruise are step-free. Ciqikou is mostly flat; a short cobblestone section can be skipped by CNY 30 electric-cart loop.

What time is the Day-4 airport transfer?

Driver picks you up 3 h before flight time. Early flights at 06:00 are covered with no surcharge. Luggage can be left at reception.

How is the child price calculated?

Under 1.2 m: CNY 200 (seat + half meal), no bed.1.2–1.5 m: add CNY 120 for tickets (cableway + cruise + deck).Over 1.5 m: adult rate.

What happens if it rains?

Cableway & cruise suspend only under Wind Force 7 or red-rainstorm alert; corresponding tickets are refunded. All indoor stops (museum, opera, Hongya Cave) continue. The guide will add an indoor site such as Huguang Guild Hall or Chaotianmen market so nothing is shortened.
